Kevin & Brenda Fuqua

Finance Manager

Kevin and Brenda were each saved at early ages on opposite sides of the country. They met and married in Chicago while attending Moody Bible Institute.

After completing his Moody training, Kevin became a Mechanical Engineer and has been an Automotive Engineer specializing in powertrains since 1991.

Brenda completed her BA in international ministries at Moody and went on to get her MBA/ACC after raising four children.

In spring 2017 we were introduced to Missionary Aviation Repair Center (MARC) by a young pilot/mechanic and his wife, who were missionaries to MARC sent from our home church. They expressed MARC’s need for a missions-minded accountant and, feeling led to this position, we moved to Alaska in December of that same year.

Originally, Kevin had planned to find work in Alaska , while Brenda worked full time at MARC. After 10 months, our plans changed, and we had to return to the Midwest to support our family during a crisis. Kevin took a job with a former employer in Michigan while Brenda continued working full-time remotely for MARC.

During this time, our positive impression of MARC and their staff has only increased. Their devotion to Christ and servant attitudes have impressed us as we observed them serving Alaska in many ways.

Brenda continues to serve MARC in accounting, remotely from their home in Michigan.
