The Peace Project

The Peace Project was started by Greg Davis, who is the Father of one of our MARC Staff Members. After hearing his pastor speak on John 2:5 "Do whatever he tells you." Greg was convicted by the Holy Spirit that he needed to "do what Jesus was telling him" which was to urge others to join the Missionary Aviation Repair Center team by praying and/or giving. As Greg wrestled with this thought, God sent him the "the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding," (Philippians 4:7) and he knew that he was to move forward with this project.

Greg named it the Peace Project for Jesus, our Prince of Peace (Isaiah 9:6). He then wrote an e-mail to friends, asking them to pray for, or to give a financial gift to, MARC and he requested that in-turn, each of them also send a note to their friends. Thus, the Peace Project was begun.
