In 1992 God led a contractor to join our staff with the vision of serving village churches. The connecting of believers outside of Alaska with believers in the villages to build or repair their churches is exciting. Every one involved experiences so much more than getting a new or improved building. Villagers and volunteers discover that the body of Christ is greater than their home "church". Another blessing is that the village church experiences a greater impact on its community and more people are interested in attending services and hearing the Word of God.
This summer's project is to complete one cabin for student housing as well as finishing our multi-purpose building. We need volunteers for plumbing, siding, sheetrock, painting, finish work and landscaping. Students arrive in Mid-September and one of the cabin isn't completed.
