All candidates must meet the basic requirements as outlined below before membership can be considered.
General Requirements: Vibrant Christian testimony, local church membership or regular attendance, missionary "call" and commitment, willingness to minister cross-culturally, and training/experience in position sought.

Candidacy: Once your application is approved by the Candidacy Committee, you will be invited for Technical and/or Non-technical evaluations. Candidates should plan for a minimum of three weeks in Soldotna. All expenses to include travel, food, and evaluation flight cost will be the responsibility of the candidate, along with any required medical and employment screenings. Housing in the summer months is difficult to find, but MARC will make every effort to help find affordable lodging.
Deputation: If accepted, new members will then enter deputation. Deputation is that time period where your ministry support (prayer and financial) team is assembled. Staff will be required to fully raise support to cover their living and ministry expenses before entering the last phase.
Field Orientation/Training: Once you have completed deputation and relocated to the Soldotna area, you will begin orientation/training for field service.
Maintenance Personnel: Airframe and Power Plant License; and Technical/Non-Technical Evaluation at MARC.
Pilot: Commercial Pilot with Single-Engine Land, Multi-Engine Land, and Instrument Ratings; 500 Total Flight Hours; and Technical/Non-Technical Evaluation at MARC.
Dispatcher: Aviation Experience (Private Pilot qualification or better preferred); and Technical/Non-Technical Evaluation at MARC.
Office Manager: Office Management Experience; and Non-Technical Evaluation at MARC.
Finance Officer: Finance/Accounting Experience; and Non-Technical Evaluation at MARC.
Logistics Coordinator: Transportation Management/Purchasing Experience; Non-Technical Evaluation at MARC.
Parts Clerk: Aircraft Maintenance or Retail Experience; and Non-Technical Evaluation at MARC.
Building and Grounds Keeper: Facility Management Experience; and Non-Technical Evaluation at MARC.
